Edward "Ed" Lee Pinson

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Wednesday April 20 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Edward "Ed" Lee Pinson age 76 of Gainesville. The Rev. Mike Pinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Mr. Pinson passed away Monday April 18 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Pinson was born in Hall County and was a lifelong resident. He was born to the late Claude Thomas Pinson Sr. and Dixie Lee Pinson. He graduated from Lyman Hall High School and coached youth football for a number of years at Gainesville Mill Elementary School. He worked a number of years at Gainesville Pure Milk, Better Maid Milk and Coble Milk Company and also operated Pinson Catering in Athens until retirement. He was preceded in death by his Wife Barbara Jean Landers Pinson, Brothers C.T. Pinson and Bryson Pinson.

Survivors include Son and Fiancé Phillip Pinson and Denise Blount, Gainesville, Daughter and Son-in-law Rhonda and Jerry Kinsey, Cumming, Grandchildren Kyle, Josh, and Drew Kinsey, Cumming, David Blount, Gainesville, Amy and Scott Rowell, Miami, Fl, Brother Robert Pinson, Gainesville, Brother and Sister-in-law Hoyt and Mildred Pinson, Gainesville, Sister Kathleen Abernathy, Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
