Geraldine Elizabeth "Geri" Cannon

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Geraldine Elizabeth "Geri" Cannon, age 67, of Gainesville formerly of Cleveland. Mrs. Cannon passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, May 28, 2011 from the funeral home chapel with Ftr. Vincent Sullivan and Kevin Cannon officiating; interment will follow in the Helen Cemetery.

Mrs. Cannon was born on June 19, 1943 to the late Richard Jerabek Sr. and Dorothy Drummond Jarebek. She was retired from the Georgia Department of Human Resources and is preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bobby" Cannon.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Nancy Cannon of Clermont; sons Jack Cannon of Helen and Lee Cannon of South Carolina; brother Richard Jerabek Jr. of Florida; as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be acknowledged or memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
