Larry Gill Pressley

Mr. Larry Gill Pressley, 67 of Gainesville died Thursday May 26, 2011 at his residence.

Born in Jackson County, Mr. Pressley had lived in Hall County for a number of years. He was self employed as pulpwood cutter and mechanic. He was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children; Michael Presley, Maysville; Linda Pressley, Maysville; Joann Conner, Franklin, Co., Christopher Pressley, Maysville; Joseph "Jody" Pressley, Athens; brothers; Sammy Pressley, Maysville; Stanley Pressley, Franklin Co., Ray Pressley, Gainesville; Ronnie Pressley, Gainesville; Eddie Pressley, Dahlonega; sisters; Elaine Martin, North Carolina; Barbara Cochran, Gainesville; Diane Hewell, Gainesville; Paulette Stewart, Jefferson; Kathy Norris and Deborah Johnson, both of Gainesville. 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 29, 2011 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Hicks will officiate. Interment will be in the Dry Pond United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jackson County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday May 28, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. unitl 8:00 p.m.
