Billy Ray Stover

Billy Ray Stover, age 69 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at his residence.

Mr. Stover was born February 5, 1942 in Cleveland to Willie Mae Coker and the late Guy Stover. Mr. Stover was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of Mossy Creek United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday school. He was a member of the Yonah Masonic Lodge # 382 F&AM and was a member of the Shriners. Mr. Stover was preceded in death by his first wife, Vivian Stover and brother, Jerry Stover.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Stover, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sonja Stover, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Dennis Roberts, Cleveland; Cindy and Scott Gaddy; Cleveland; mother, Willie Mae Stover, Greenville, SC; step-daughter, Trina Paul, Cleveland; step-daughter and husband, Lisa and Wayne Tench, Alto; sisters, Martha Riley, Easley, SC; Brenda Stover, Fountain Inn, SC; grandchildren, Blake Allison, Dexter Roberts, Dustin Roberts, Dawson Roberts, Kaitlyn Gaddy, Christopher Jones, Melinda Allen.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, May 30, 2011 from Mossy Creek United Methodist Church. The Rev. Nanci Hicks and the Rev. Charles Black will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
