Donald Loyal Stowers

Mr. Donald Loyal Stowers, age 76, of Gainesville, passed away on June 4, 2011 at The Oaks at Limestone.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Pastor Rod Bell will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Stowers was born October 8, 1934 to the late Floyd Stowers and Mayona Elliott Stowers. He served in the United States Army and was retired from General Motors. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

Mr. Stowers is survived by his wife, Dee Stowers; daughters & sons-in-law, Lisa & Danny Loggins of Flowery Branch and Jackie & Rick Meeks of Palm Coast, FL; Brothers Arnold Stowers of Gainesville and Paul Jacobs; Sisters, Joyce Garrett of Gainesville and Jolene Smith of North Carolina; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
