Louise Reeves Barron

Louise Reeves Barron, 84, of Gainesville passed away Friday June 10, 2011 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Born January 12, 1927 in Lumpkin County to the late Albert and Essie Reeves, she lived a number of years in Dawson County before moving to Gainesville 40 years ago. Mrs. Barron was a homemaker and member of New Life Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee "Speck" Barron, Jr.; son, Lannie Barron; and brothers, Paul Reeves, and Raymond Reeves.

Surviving are her children, Sue Patterson, Gainesville, Jerry and Ruby Barron, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Chad and Ceslie Patterson, Gainesville, Phil and Tracy Patterson, Winder, Shane Barron, Dawsonville, Casey Barron, Dawsonville, Landry Jones, Dawsonville; great grandchildren, Justin Patterson, Gainesville, Ryan Patterson, Winder, Brayden Patterson, Winder; sisters and brothers in law, Isabell Wilson, Cumming, Maggie Whitlock, Gainesville, Jean and Ken Ray, Gainesville, Betty and Jan Cooley, Gainesville; brothers and sisters in law, Ed and Mamie Reeves, Dawsonville, James and Edna Reeves, Dawsonville, Richard and Betty Reeves, Gainesville; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 13, 2011 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Owens and Rev. Windell Patterson will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Life Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
