ElvaDean Hall Gunn

ElvaDean Hall Gunn, age 75, of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Gunn was born on November 18, 1935, in Hiawassee, Georgia. She was a daughter of the late Earl and Vennie McNabb Ledford. Mrs. Gunn was also preceded in death by her sister, Eulene Ledford Lanning. ElvaDean was retired from the International Outerwear and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Demorest, Georgia.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Hall Vonier and Ricky T. Vonier, Clarkesville, GA; son, C. Keith Hall, Demorest, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Debbie Brookshire Hall, Baldwin, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda D. and Frank Raper, Mt. Airy, GA, Willaree and Thomas Johnson, Cornelia, GA, and Judy E. and Lanny Word, Laurinburg, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Pastor H. Harold and Viola Ledford, Hiawassee, GA; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Donald Gunn, Mt. Airy, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Russ Barker and Rev. Charles Holland officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
