Kansie Lee Newton Haynes

Mrs. Kansie Lee Newton Haynes, 78 of Gainesville died Thursday June 23, 2011 at her residence.

Born in Dawson County, Mrs. Haynes had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Voncille Reed Newton. She worked as a home economics teacher for a number of years at Clermont High School and also worked in the family business of Haynes Mailing.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bobby Haynes, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law; Jeff and Tammi Haynes, Clermont; sons, Joe Haynes and Tim Haynes, both of Gainesville. grandchildren; Josh and Tracy Giles, Clay Haynes and fiance, Pam Pronevitch, and Emily Haynes, mother-in-law; Kate Haynes all of Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 25, 2011 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Danny Newbern will officiate. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum Lakeside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday June 24, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to The Jericho House, P.O. Box 2863, Cleveland, Georgia 30528.
