Robert S. "Bobby" Coker

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Robert S. "Bobby" Coker, age 76, of Jefferson, who passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Mr. Coker was born in Porterdale Ga., a son to the late Millard and Opal Logan.

Mr. Coker was a veteran of the United States Army and a former member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Steve (Barbara) Coker of Jefferson GA., Abby (Greg) Silvey of Kalamazoo MI., Scott Coker of Lexington GA., sister Jean (Ray) Cook of Nicholson GA., 11 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Carpenter officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday July 1, 2011 from 6-9 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Red Stone UMC cemetery.
