Jeanette Murphy

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Talmo Baptist Church for Mrs. Jeanette Murphy, 77, of Pendergrass. The Rev. Mark Spence will officiate. Interment will follow in Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born in Athens, GA on January 1, 1934, Mrs. Murphy was the daughter of the late Henry Clayton and Eunice Aaron Colvard. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years. George Jake Murphy of Pendergrass; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jean Murphy, George and Sherry Murphy, Roger and Charlotte Murphy all of Pendergrass; daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Mike Jones of Murfreesboro, TN; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Pat Mashburn of Kennesaw and several nieces and nephews.
