Luther Eugene Turpin

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday July 6, 2011 in Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Luther Eugene Turpin age 66 of Gainesville. The Rev. Douglas Gaines will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Turpin passed away Sunday July 3 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Turpin was born in Forsyth County to the late Lester Turpin and Lillie Mae Dover Turpin. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Fair View Baptist Church. He spent 10 years with the Fritz Campers. He was a poultry installer for Mumpower Poultry, Grizzle Poultry, Dixie Poultry and Chore Time Poultry. For the last 25 years he worked for himself contracting poultry work until he got sick.
