Peter J. Yurcho

Peter J. Yurcho, age 60, of Demorest, Georgia, formerly of Trenton, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011.

Mr. Yurcho was born on October 19, 1950, in Trenton, New Jersey. He was a son of Peter Yurcho of Trenton, New Jersey and the late Caroline Dorthea Goldenbaum Yurcho. Mr. Yurcho was a truck driver for many years before becoming disabled. He went to Culinary School where he improved his cooking skills. He was an avid golfer who won various trophies and awards. Mr. Yurcho was also very creative with stained glass and enjoyed the beach at his home in Florida. At the end of his life, Peter lived for his five grandchildren by spending time with them and teaching them various things. Mr. Yurcho was a member of the Saint Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Trenton, New Jersey.

In addition to his father, survivors include, his loving wife, Shirley P. Yurcho, Demorest, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer L. and Jeffrey Hensley, Lexington, SC; daughter, Stacy Caporale, Demorest, GA; sister, Sandra A. Yurcho, Southampton, NJ; brother, Thomas H. Yurcho, Southampton, NJ; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Walt Panek, FL and Cindy and Richard Boothby, NJ; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Walter and Cindy Leach, PA; brothers-in-law, Merle Preston, NJ and Robert Preston, FL; five grandchildren; an uncle, Fred Napoleon, Southampton, NJ; and other nephews, nieces, cousins, and relatives.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
