Icie Sylnn Wilmont

Icie Sylnn Wilmont, age 34, of Cornelia, passed away Tuesday, July 05, 2011 at Habersham County Medical Center.

Born in Habersham County on January 11, 1977, she was a daughter of the late Leon Sr. and Arlinda Wilmont Davis. In addition to her parents Mrs. Wilmont was preceded in death by a twin brother, Issiac Wilmont. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where she was very active in the church choir, was a member of Missions Ministries, and was an usher. She was also a member of the Wisteria Women's Club. Mrs. Wilmont was employed with Fieldale Farms.

Survivors include daughter, Zedrea Shakurra Gaines of Cornelia; son, ZeAndre Ali Shakur Wilmont of Cornelia; brother and sister-in-law, Leon Jr. and Angela Davis of Westminster, SC; brother, Steven Stafford of Memphis, TN; sisters, Vernita Dantzler of Cornelia, Lateese Davis of Cornelia, and Stacey Stafford of Memphis, TN.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Saturday, July 09, 2011 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Bishop Ernest Burns and Elder Ann Nicley officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Friday. The body will lie in state at Shady Grove Baptist Church from 1:00 pm until the service hour on Saturday.
