Harry Lee Stephens

Harry Lee Stephens, age 64, of Demorest, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011.
Born in Athens, GA on October 20, 1946, he was a son of the late Ernest Walter and Emma Archer Stephens.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Davis. Mr. Stephens was a member of Cornelia United Methodist Church where he served on the Administrative Board and as church treasurer. He was also a member of the United Methodist Men. Mr. Stephens was the Chief Financial Officer of Community Banks Shares, Inc. for 20 years. He was also a United States Army veteran, serving six years in the Army Reserves. Mr. Stephens was an avid golfer who also enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Donna F. Stephens of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Todd O'Brien of Columbia, MD; son and daughter
