Jo Neal Lawson Palmer

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Jo Neal Lawson Palmer, 74, of Cleveland.

Mrs. Palmer died Wednesday, July 21, 2011, at her residence.

Born in White County on July 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lawson and the late Vinnie Bingham Lawson. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Wiley; and a brother, Curtis Lawson.

She had worked as a lab technician at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Palmer of Cleveland; and a special friend of the family, Paul Payne of Cleveland; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Garry Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at Gateway Memory Park in Cleveland.

The family will receive friends at Alexander Funeral Home, 2721 Highway 129 South, Cleveland, from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 21.
