Bruce Eugene Whaley

Bruce Eugene Whaley, age 64, of Gwinnett County GA, entered into Heaven , Sunday, August 7, 2011. He was born May 27th 1947 in Whittier, CA. Bruce was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Bruce is survived by his father, Robert E. Whaley of Cumming, GA; mother, Mary Goins Disbrow of Decatur, GA.; wife, Michell Whaley of Gwinnett County GA; children, David Eugene Whaley of Commerce , GA, Stephen Lee Whaley of Carnesville, GA, Douglas William Whaley of Commerce, GA; brothers, Larry, David and Andy; sister, Carol. He also had 7 grandchildren whom he cherished.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from noon until hour of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to National Lung Association in his memory.
