Guy Stancil, Jr

Guy Stancil, Jr., age 85, of Lilburn, GA., passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, with Pastor Jim Sunda and Pastor Phillip Stancil officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, GA.

A native of Gainesville, GA., Guy served in the US Air Force in WWII and owned and operated Dixie Products Vending Company.

Survivors include his wife, of 63 years, Alice Dorsey Stancil of Eatonton, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Debra Stancil of North Wilkesboro, NC, Mike and Susan Stancil of Lawrenceville, GA.; son, Bill Stancil of Eatonton, GA.; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Cookie Lawson of Ballground, GA. and Betty Wright of Cincinnati, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Country Baptist Church, 1259 Crooked Creek Road, Eatonton, GA. 31024.
