Marie Elliott

Mrs. Marie Elliott, age 80, of Suches, Ga. died August 28, 2011.

She was the daughter of the late Jack Holloway and Carrie Woody Holloway. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Corbin; and brothers, Russell Holloway and Paul Holloway.

Mrs. Elliott lived most of her life in Suches, Ga. She worked in the lunchroom at Woody Gap School in Suches for several years.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Elliott, Suches, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Rosalie and J.C. Cambron, Dahlonega, Ga.; son, Dale Elliott, Suches, Ga.; sister, Eldine Gilreath, Suches, Ga.; sister-in-law, Bonnie Holloway, Suches, Ga.; grandchildren, Priscilla Reagin and husband James Reagin, Russell Cambron, Christy Elliott and Courtney Elliott; great-grandchildren, Sage Reagin and James Reagin. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday August 30, 2011 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Clarence Drummond and Rev. Jimmy Tanner will officiate.

Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Suches, Ga.

The family will receive friends on Monday August 29, 2011 from1 PM until 8 PM at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.
