Mittie Mae Teasley Jordan, 93, of Gainesville passed on Friday September 2, 2011. Home Going Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church on Mill Street with Rev. Rodney A. Lackey, Sr. officiating and Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 7pm-8pm at Antioch Baptist Church.

Mrs Jordan was born October 27, 1917 to the late John C. Teasley and Aldine M. Beatrice Mayfield Teasley. She was a native of Stephens County and had lived most of her life in Hall County.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son Mr. Eugene Teasley, a daughter and son-in-law Mrs Betty and Mr Matthew Hopkins, 4 Grandchildren Sue H. Brawner, Matthew Hopkins, Jr., Freddie Hopkins and Chris Hopkins, 4 Great GrandChildren Kenikya and Christena Hopkins, Kashiwa Brawner, Paramesha Brawner, 6 Great Great Grandchildren Onaje, Byankha, Jaun, Ezra, Kendice and last bundle of joy Kaiden LaMyKal Brawner, Brother John Teasley , Brother and sister-in-law Rev. L.C. and Cathy Teasley, Sister and Brother-in-law Mr & Mrs Bennie and Mattie Williams, God Daughters Vera Brown and Louise Goudelock, Special friends The Bonds Sisters, Special Neice Mattie McCary, Special Nephew and his wife Mr & Mrs Gary (Tangia) Millsap and a host of Neices and Nephews and God sent Angels Gloria Davenport, Theressa Dorsey and Ashley Young. Special Thanks to the staff of New Horizons North and Hospice of N.E. Georgia Medical Center.
