Lela "Florine" Chadwick

Lela "Florine" Chadwick, age 76, a lifetime resident of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was a member of Ophir Baptist Church. Florine loved her grandchildren. She also loved baking cakes and never sent anyone away hungry. She is preceded in death by her husband James Walton Chadwick.

Survivors include her children, James Michael (Virginia) Chadwick , James Stevie ( Wanda) Chadwick, Walton Timothy ( Rita) Chadwick, Cindi (Bryan) Sanders; brother and sister-in-law, Ivan and Jerlene Martin of Cumming; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren ; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Boling officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. until hour of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for use in fighting her son's battle with cancer.
