Norman J. Bragg Sr.

Mr. Norman J. Bragg Sr., age 74, of Murrayville, Ga. died September 11, 2011.

Mr. Bragg was the son of the late Norman R. Bragg and Clara Bruock Bragg.

Mr. Bragg was a self employed carpenter. He attended St. Luke's Catholic Church in Dahlonega, Ga. and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Cain Bragg; Murrayville, Ga.; daughter, Julie Blackwell, Bradenton, Florida; sons, Timothy Bragg, Sarasota, Florida, Norman J. Bragg Jr., Bradenton, Florida, Brian Bragg, Bradenton, Florida, Russell Bragg, San Antonio, Texas; brothers, George Bragg and Paul Bragg, both of Michigan, Mike Bragg, Indiana; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday September 14, 2011 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Dahlonega, Ga.

Father Neal Dhabliwala will officiate.

Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Tuesday from 5 PM until 8 PM at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, Ga.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
