Ronald L. Beck

Mr. Ronald Le Ray Beck, age 80, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Nathan Hewitt and Reverend Jerry Hewitt will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2011 one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Beck was born February 19, 1931 in Missouri and was the son of the late Guy Beck and Sadie Henson Beck. He was retired from Hartz Bakery as the production manager. He was a member of the United States Marine Corp and served in the Korean Conflict. He as preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ronnie Beck.

Mr. Beck is survived by his wife, Pauline Chapman, step-sons, Doug, David and Donald Chapman; and several step-grandchildren; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Lisa Beck of Conyers and grandchildren, Daven Cox, Kristina Cox, Kristin Beck and Ross Beck, and two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends also survive.
