Anne was a graduate of Marywood College in Scranton PA. She worked as a special education teacher before moving to Gainesville in 1975 and turning her energies towards her community and her family. Anne served on the Governor's Council for Special Education and many other community boards. She devoted many hours to community charities and organizations like the Gainesville Symphony, Gainesville Ballet and her church, St. Michael's Catholic Church. She loved reading, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She devoted her life to her family, her faith, her friends, and anyone in need. Anne will be missed by all the lives she came to touch, a friend to all and a mother to many. This was best explained by Alberto Luque, "In the brief amount of time I have come to know you, love you and value you because you were a person who deeply touched each one of us and left your mark. It is for this that we will always remember your love, your smile, your kisses and your appreciation for the small things in life".

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make contributions to St. Vincent de Paul through St. Michael's Church 1440 Pearce Circle, Gainesville Ga. 30501

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 28, at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Victor Reyes will officiate. Interment will be in the Alta Vista Cemetery.
