Nell Gunter Bradshaw Townsend

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Nell Gunter Bradshaw Townsend, age 83, of Maysville, who passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011.

Mrs. Townsend was born in Elbert County, a daughter to the late David Gibson Gunter and the late Georgia Hickenbottom Gunter. Mrs. Townsend was preceded in death by her husbands, John Franklin Townsend and W.C. Bradshaw, and her children, Janice Nell Bradshaw, Billy Ray Bradshaw and Donald Allen Bradshaw.

Mrs. Townsend was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children, Shirley and Hinton Patrick, Watkinsville, John Bradshaw, Maysville, David and Pam Bradshaw, Bogart, Diane and Willie Marlow, Maysville, Faye and Dale Fountain, Arcade, 7 brothers and sisters, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 3:00pm in the Victory Baptist Church in Hull, GA with Rev. Rick Lewis officiating.
