Beth Ann Keihn

We are sorry to announce the death of Beth Ann Keihn "Staker" on October 17, 2011.

Beth was born in Muncie, Indiana on June 20th 1953. She was employed by the City of Muncie as a clerk, a Muncie police officer and a 911 supervisor. Beth was the first female officer at the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office. Her last 8 years were spent working for George Butler, a local attorney.

Beth is lovingly survived by her siblings, Robert Pence and wife Debbie, and their son, Wil Pence, of Dahlonega, GA, Robin Huffman and her son Matthew, of Cumming, GA, Anita Winkle and her companion Mike Flesher, her daughters, Ashley Coats and husband Sean, and Whitney Winkle, all of Muncie, Indiana; niece, Amy Swisher of Dawsonville, GA and her sons Cinco and Travis Swisher of Houston, TX; step-mother Nancy Schneider, Birmingham, MI and many cousins, "one who was like a brother", aunts and uncles; her loving faithful companion Rudy.

Beth was proceeded in death by her mother Anna Pence and her father Willard Keihn, her stepfather Robert Pence Sr., her sister Kathy Keihn, her brother Anthony Pence, and her special aunts Juanita Teal, Thelma Hutchinson; and also her favorite person grandmother Eliza Gilland.

We are hosting a Celebration of Beth's life on October 29th at 3 PM. Our home will be open to all of Beth's friends and family. Please bring a covered dish.
