Michael Scotty Dodd

Michael Scotty Dodd, 53, of Cumming, GA died on October 27, 2011. Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of Everett and Anne Dodd of Cumming, GA.

Scotty graduated from Milton High School and retired from the Fulton County Fire Department after 28 years of service. He also served with the Forsyth County Fire Department. Scotty was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed coin collecting and liked to cook.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Sharon Dodd of Cumming, GA; daughters, Sarah Stalnaker of Charlottesville, VA, Paige Eustis of Baltimore, MD, Christa (Andrew) Lovelace of Ball Ground, GA and Rene Dodd of Woodstock, GA; sister, Terri (Joe) Murphy of Cumming, GA; aunt and uncle, Judy and Cole (Buddy) Young of Alpharetta, GA; cousin, Darryl Young of Cumming, GA; sisters-in-law Darlene (Fred) Ford, Charlotte Watkins and Pamela Zinn of Grafton, WVA, Judy (Camden) Herndon of Ruckersville, WVA,; brothers-in-law, Greg (Lucretia) Kelley of Salem, WVA and Kevin (Lynne) Kelley of Greenwood, WVA, John (Jerri) Kelley of Greenwood, WVA and Charles M. (Kim) Kelley of Greenwood, WVA; niece, Amanda; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm on Monday, October 31, 2011 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 29 from 5:00
