Henry Clay Fears, Jr

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Henry Clay Fears, Jr. 71, of Jefferson, GA, who passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Athens, Georgia following a brief illness.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Henry Clay Fears, Sr. and Frances Horton Fears, Mr. Fears retired from AT&T as a Network Planner with over 30 years of service. Mr. Fears was a member of Centreville United Methodist Church in Centreville, Virginia.

Survivors include his Daughter, Becky Fleming, Marietta, Ga. Son and daughter in law Bill and Debbie Fears, Fleming Island, Florida Companion for over 20 years, Martha Davis, Jefferson, Ga. adopted Children, Ron and Kim Reed, Grandchildren, Jessica and Alyssa Fears and Ryan and Sydney Fleming, and adopted grandchildren, Rainey and Aaron Reed and a number of other relatives.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday Nov. 27, 2011 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
