Margaret D. Hadley

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Margaret Dorothy Hadley, 82, of Hoschton, Ga. who passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011.

Mrs. Hadley was born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter to the late Harry and Helen Arnesen Lewis. Mrs. Hadley was a homemaker who liked to crochet and read the Daily Bread everyday. Mrs. Hadley was a life member of the Women of the Moose and was active in the Senior Club in Staten Island, NY. Mrs. Hadley was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Hadley, stepdaughter, Marion Walden, brother, Frank Lewis, sister, Florence Brates and sister in law, Doris Graham.

Survivors include Daughters and son-in-law: Barbara and Billy Glasby and Joan Burch all of Hoschton, Granddaughters: Cheryl Iski of Hoschton, Jennifer (Ricky) Myrick of Lawrenceville, Mark (Jessica) Glasby, Portland, OR, Great-grandchildren, Christopher Aden Myrick and Hana Glasby.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 1PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Lewis Ortiz officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
