Alma Crow Partridge

Alma Crow Partridge, age 79, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011, at the Habersham Medical Center.



Mrs. Partridge was born on January 19, 1932, in Hall County, Georgia; a daughter of the late Marion Newton and Pauline Woodall Crow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Partridge; sister, Dorothy Erwin; and son-in-law, Reid Jones. Mrs. Partridge was a retired registered nurse at the Habersham Medical Center with 15 years of service. She also worked in the nursing field for 45 years and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.



Survivors include her daughter, Tina Jones, Cornelia, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Tony Stutes, Gray Court, SC; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Grapelle Partridge, Cornelia, GA and Gary and Polly Partridge, Easley, SC; brother, Pete Crow, Gainesville, GA; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Paul Morris and Rev. Lloyd Free officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
