Betty Jean Gazaway James

Betty Jean Gazaway James, age 63 of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend Drewery Loggins officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. James was born on January 14, 1948 in Gainesville, Geogia to the late Glenn Gazaway and Lucille Dale Chambers Gazaway. She was a homemaker and a caregiver to many.

Ms. James is survived by her daughter, Melissa Henry of Alabama; grandchildren, Tyler, Zack and Olivia Henry of Alabama; sister & brother-in-law, Shirley & Franky Clark of Gainesville; brothers, William "Bud" Chambers and Marvin "Pug" Chambers both of Gainesville.
