Bonnie Lingerfelt Gardiner

Mrs. Bonnie Lingerfelt Gardiner, age 88, of Maysville, GA died Friday, December 30, 2011 at Northeast GA Medical Center.

Mrs. Gardiner was born in Lumpkin County to the late Cicero and Madge Mintz Lingerfelt. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and also WMU. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gardiner was preceded in death by her husband, John Pledger Gardiner.

Mrs. Gardiner is survived by her sons, Johnny Gardiner (Connie) and Ron Gardiner (Elizabeth) all of Maysville; daughters, Mary Brantley (Phil) of Maggie Valley, NC and Joyce Massey (Patrick Roberts) of Destin, FL; brothers, Ralph Gardiner and Jake Gardiner both of Dahlonega; sisters, Lois Arthur of Dahlonega and Joyce Mize of Dacula; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. James Duncan and Rev. Ralph O. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 5 to 8 PM.
