Mrs. Willie Mae Collins

Mrs. Willie Mae Collins, age 94, of Nicholson, GA died Monday, January 2, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospice House. Mrs. Collins was born in Jackson County to the late Milton and Lucy Allie Aaron Turk. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and was retired from Harmony Grove Mill. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Boyd Collins and daughter, Peggy Hix.
Mrs. Collins is survived by her daughter, Jackie Smith of Nicholson; sister, Nancy Ginn of Jefferson; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, January 4 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
