Myrtle Laurann Quaife

Obituary Date: Sunday, January 15, 2012
Funeral Services are scheduled for 4:00p.m. Tuesday January 17, 2012 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Myrtle Laurann Ford Quaife age 84 of Gainesville. High Priest Ralph Williams and Elder Carolyn Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta
Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Quaife passed away Sunday January 15, 2012 at Summer Landing Assisted Living following an extended illness.

Mrs. Quaife was born in Atchison, Kansas to the late Marion Ford and Myrtle Robertson Spiva. She had lived in Hall County for the past 59 years. She had worked for Millner's Department Store and Retired from Sears. She was the former owner of LA Décor Decorating and later worked for Lowe's. She was a member of Community of Christ Church, The Red Hat Society, South Hall Senior Citizens and was Co-Founder of the Self Help for Hard of Hearing.

Survivors include Daughter Carol Quaife, Stone Mtn., Daughter and Son-in-law, Cindy Quaife-Young and Husband Jim, Gainesville, Son and Daughter-in-law, Roy and Beverly Quaife, Gainesville, Grandchildren, Lucinda Whidden, Gainesville, Melissa Montgomery-Doster, Jefferson, Shelly Driskell-Ragan, Columbus, GA, August Quaife, South Jordan, Utah, Allan Quaife, Houston, TX, Stephen Quaife, Clayton, GA, Great Grandchildren, Alex Whidden, Allison Whidden, Dylan Gearin, Kara Quaife, Abigail Quaife, Vanessa Quaife, Gabriella Quaife and Joshua Doster.
