Louise Doris Edge

Mrs. Louise Doris Edge, age 70, of Dahlonega, Georgia died January 27, 2012.

Mrs. Edge was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was retired from Mohawk Industries. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Lumpkin County and attended The Fountain Church in Dahlonega.

She was the daughter of the late Alonzo Fields and Ollie Dyer Fields. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Edge; and a sister, Lona Mae Turner.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Tammy and Jason Soles, Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother in law, Dorothy and H.B. Waters, Dawsonville, GA; brothers and sisters in law, Robert and Louise Fields, Dahlonega, GA, Rondal and Jeanette Fields, Clermont, GA; brother in law, Herbert Turner, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Will Soles and Caleb Soles. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday January 31, 2012 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Bo Robinson will officiate.

Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends on Monday January 30, 2012 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, Ga.
