Nancy Ann Hindle, 64, of Gainesville passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2012, in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home Rev. Dr. Kenneth Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interment will follow be in Georgia National Cemetery.
Born on July 30, 1947, in Birmingham, AL she was the daughter of the late Hamilton D and Cora Crook Childree. She attended the University of Alabama then became a registered nurse in Atlanta, employed by Northside Hospital as a labor and delivery nurse for 26 years.
Mrs. Hindle is survived by her husband, James Hindle of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Robert Frick of Berkley Lake, GA, Kimberly and Leif Landon of Portland, OR; sisters, Susan Starnes of Glendale, CA, Sandy Tennies of Fleetwood, PA; four grandchildren, Matthew Landon, Claudia Landon, Hayes Frick, Hannah Frick; step daughter and husband, Denise and Ed Utterback; step son and wife, Jeff and Ann Hindle of Wilmington, NC; two step grandchildren, Zach Utterback and Kyle Utterback.
