Thomas Ray Carlan

Mr. Thomas Ray Carlan, age 78, of Homer, GA died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Mr. Carlan was born in Banks County to the late Hubert and Elizabeth Coker Carlan. He was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and was a retired car salesman.

Mr. Carlan is survived by his wife, Kathleen Carlan of Homer; sons, Brad Carlan, Ken Carlan and Kevin Carlan all of Homer; daughters, Sandra Roberts of Homer, Randy Redmon of South Carolina and Kay Webb of Carlton; step-children, Melissa Burns of Michigan, Gail Burns of Florida, Suzanne Hetzel of Mississippi and Daniel Kintyhtt of Montana; brother, Lloyd Carlan of Toccoa; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, February 20 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Manus officiating. Interment will follow in Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church, 942 East Ridgeway Road, Commerce, GA 30529.
