Harold P. Herrin

Harold P. Herrin, 83, of Gainesville passed the morning of Sunday, February 19th. Harold was born November 1, 1928 to Lloyd Parks Herrin and Ola Belle Scroggs Herrin Hallford. He graduated from Lyman Hall High School. He served as a Sergeant in the US Air Force. He was in the Poultry industry for many years and retired as part owner of K & D. Trucking.

Harold is survived by his wife of 63 years Doris Hutchins Herrin and daughter, Kaye Herrin Stanley, brother and sister-in- law Michael Herrin and Alice, sister and brother-in-law, Jimmy and Janice Seymour, sisters-in-law, Kay Wallis Herrin and Elaine Herrin Onley.

Harold is preceded in death by his brothers Manget Herrin and Hoyt Herrin.

Friends will be received at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21st 4p-7p. Services will be held at Little & Davenport Funeral home on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Gene Brooks and Rev. Bruce Fields and Rev. Mark Dowdy will officiate.
