Elizabeth "Juanita" Forrest

Elizabeth "Juanita" Forrest, age 89 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Oaks at Limestone Nursing Home following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Mr. Carl Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.


Miss Forrest was born July 10, 1922 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Patrick Forrest and Ora A. Jay Forrest. She was a lifetime resident of Hall County and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Marie Forrest and her brother, Wallace Forrest.


Miss Forrest is survived by her cousins, Elizabeth & Frank Nix of Dawsonville, Betty Jo Eades of Gainesville, Lloyd Unnold of Gainesville, Ann Jay of Gainesville and Sharon Jay of Gainesville, special friends, Carl & Linda Rogers of Gainesville, Jack & Caroline Keener of Gainesville, Roger & Margaret Yonce of Gillsville and Margaret Peeples of Gainesville.
