Florence Evelyn Duncan

Mrs. Florence Evelyn Duncan, age 91, of Homer, GA died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Wood Dale Health and Rehab. She was born in Franklin County, GA to the late Arthur and Zora Bell Acree Watson. She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ellis Duncan, Sr.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by her daughters, Kay Atkins (Benny) of Jefferson, Janet Duncan of Dalton and Judy McNelley (Mike) of Rocky Face; son, Marvin Duncan, Jr.; sisters, Elise Sailors of Athens and Geraldine Lacy of Commerce; grandsons, Jeremy, Todd and Josh McNelley; and great-grandchildren, Kayde, Mia and Drake McNelley.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Sunday, April 1 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. John Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Banks Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6 to 8 PM.
