James Michael (Chuck) Moore

Mr. James Michael (Chuck) Moore, age 56, of Athens died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Moore was born in Clarke County to the late Mell and Grace Miller Moore. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Pilgrim's Pride.

Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter, Sherri Hollmier of Hertford, NC; son, Charles Moore of Norfolk, VA; brothers, Jimmy Moore and Cecil Moore both of Nicholson, Raymond Moore, Thomas Moore, Johnny Moore and Paul Moore all of Athens; sisters, Pat Wages of Monroe, Barbara Lane of Athens and Mary Willoughby of Commerce; and one grandson.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Sunday, April 1 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Carpenter and Deacon Eddie Bouknight officiating. Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6 to 8 PM.
