Betty Smith Collins

Mrs. Betty Smith Collins, age 65, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her home.

Born June 24, 1946 in Stephens County, she was a daughter of the late Cicero Buren "C. B." and Nellie Blanche Herron Smith.

She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Coats and Clark with 42 years of service. Betty was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed traveling, cooking and shopping.

Family members include, her husband, Alfred Collins; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian Cleveland, Barry and Kim Collins, Brian and Lenalisa Collins, and Bradley and Elizabeth Collins; brother, Bobby Smith; grandchildren, Joshua, Breanna, Nathan and Ricky Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her children, Ricky, Beverly and Roger Cleveland; a brother, Gary Smith; and a nephew Robert Cale Smith.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday, April 23 , 2012 at the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary

with the Rev. Bradley Collins, the Rev. Jerrell Beatty and the Rev. Jerry McKee officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following will serve as pallbearers; Mark Smith, Kevin Smith, Bradley Collins, Brian Collins, Barry Collins, and Nathan Collins.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2 pm - 4 pm and 6 pm - 8 pm Sunday, April 22, 2012.
