John Duncan Mealor

Mr. John Duncan Mealor, age 80, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, May 01, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Mealor was born in Commerce, GA to the late Moody Mem and Mary Belle Marvin Mealor. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Lockheed. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mealor was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Hopkins Mealor.

Mr. Mealor is survived by his children, Wanda Kay Middlebrooks of Polk City, FL, Donna Guess of Kennesaw, John David Mealor of Canton and Gaye Norvell of Powder Springs; brother, James Mealor of Commerce; sister, Virginia Barnes of Commerce; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Friday, May 4 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 5 to 8 PM.
