George William Moore, Jr.

Mr. George William (Billy) Moore, Jr., age 48, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 following a sudden illness.


Funeral Services are scheduled for 4:00 pm Friday, May 18, 2012 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Joe Dover and Reverend Kevin Woody will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm Thursday, May 17, 2012 and 1:00 pm to the funeral hour on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the funeral home.


Billy was a lifelong resident of Hall County born July 2, 1963 to George William Moore, Sr. and Shelvia (Lunsford) Parks. He was employed with M.P. Painting, and also worked for the Hall County Fire Department/EMT # 28062 for 15 years and also with the White County Fire Department.


Billy is survived by his daughter and fiance, Brittany Moore and Tyler Dibble; son, Brantley Moore all of Clermont; mother, Shelvia Parks of Maysville; father and step-mother, George (Sonny) and Marie Moore, Sr. of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Amber Parks of Cleveland; sister, Lynn Parks of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Tammy Moore of Albany; Joey and Christine Moore of Cumming; David and Karen Moore also of Cumming and sister, Laura Moore also of Cumming; uncle, Stanley Irvin and a number of nieces and nephews.
