Mary June Jackson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary June Jackson, age 71, of Colbert, Ga., who passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Clarke County, Ga. a daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Walls Colquitt. Mrs. Jackson retired from the University of Georgia where she was a clerk in the Admissions office after 19 years of service. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Winterville Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be Saturday May 19, 2012 at 11AM at Colbert Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Hunter and Rev. Brad Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11 AM on Saturday May 19, 2012 at Colbert Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her Husband, William Thomas Jackson, of Colbert and a number of children. grandchildren and other relatives.
