Winifred "Winnie" Narsissa Frisz Moore

Mrs. Winifred "Winnie" Narsissa Frisz Moore passed away peacefully on April 29, 2012 at Gold City Convalescent Home in Dahlonega, GA. She was 92.

Mrs. Moore was born in Terre Haute, IN one of 12 children born to the late Wilifred Pius and Mayme Ethel Frisz. Mr. Frisz played a major role in establishing what is now known as the Blessed Sacrament Church in Clermont, FL. Winnie had been a resident of Clermont since 1924 and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church from its inception until she moved to Dahlonega, GA in 2003.

Winnie drove a school bus for 26 years in Clermont, FL and made it her life's goal to be available to help anyone in need. She enjoyed working for the Neighborhood Center providing the less fortunate with clothes, food, medicines and assistance with monthly bills as well as making custom curtains and upholstery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis H. Moore in 1979.

Winnie is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Frisz, Paul Frisz; two sisters, Ann Smith, Dorothy Cunningham; daughters Therese Moore Harmel (Roman), Cathy Moore Clack; (FL) grandchildren Winnie Leigh Harmel Hoglund (Mike) (Buford, GA), Garrick Roman Harmel (Annie) Salem, OR, Jerry David Clack, (FL) Bruce Michael Nicholls, (FL) great-grandchildren Lillian Morgan Harmel, Cora Winn Harmel, and Bentley Mason Nicholls, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, May 19, 2012 at St. Paul's the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Thad Rudd officiating.
