Ellen Marie Wiggins Carlise Brooks

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Ellen Marie Wiggins Carlise Brooks, age 54, of Nicholson, Ga. who passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Atlanta, Ga. a daughter of the late Edward Wiggins and Estelle Carlise. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Jane Brooks, her sister Sandra Brock and brother, Michael Carlise.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred Brooks, Nicholson, Ga. daughter, Ellie Mae (Roger) Martin, Nicholson, Ga. son, Don (Jami) Brooks, Villa Rica, Ga. Sisters Beverly Walls, Arcade, Ga. Susan Carlise, Winder, Ga. and Melinda Carlise, Winder, Ga. brother, Lee Carlise, Flowery Branch, Ga. grandchildren, Jade Brooks, Jacob Martin, Hailey Martin, Dylan Martin, Molly Martin and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Revival Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Shadburn, Rev. Lloyd Hopper and Rev. Larry Lee officiating with Jeremy Ray, Donald Brooks, Dwight Brooks, Jeremy Sullivan, Dale Ray and Bobby Skinner honored are pallbearers. Interment will in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 5, 2012 and Wednesday June 6, 2012 at the residence, 31 O'kelly Road, Nicholson, Georgia 30565
