Rondal Perry Carter

Rondal Perry Carter, age 51 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Mr. Carter was born November 28, 1960 in Gainesville to Rev. Leon and Mary Sutton Carter. Perry was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. He had a kind heart and compassion for others. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting. Mr. Carter was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred and Hattie Carter and Emory and Annie Sutton.

Survivors include in addition to his parents; son, Brett Carter, Cleveland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lamar and Renee Carter; Scott and Tammy Carter, all of Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Bill Swann, Marietta; Robin and Parrish Dudley, Flowery Branch; nieces, Allison Autry, Roxie Dalton, Rachel Carter and nephew, Jesse Carter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Milton Harris, the Rev. Verner London and the Rev. Matt Pruitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
