Martha Darragh

Martha Darragh, age 82 of Atlanta, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Covington Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.


Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Peachtree Christian Church, 1580 Peachtree Street, NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30309. The family will receive friends after the service at the Church.


Ms. Darragh was born February 12, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Wallace Neely and Candace Suez Carpenter Neely. She was a homemaker and a member of Peachtree Christian Church. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gwen Byrd.


Ms. Darragh is survived by her sons, William R. Darragh, III of Pennsylvania, Lee Darragh of Gainesville, Timothy Wallace Darragh of Baltimore, Maryland and Patrick F. Darragh of Lawrenceville, daughter, Barbara Gwen Cox of Conyers, Georgia, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
