Roy Michael Lathren

Mr. Roy Michael Lathren, age 61, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Lathren was born in Greenwood, SC to Ernest and Barbara Lathren of Greenwood, SC. He was a member of Freedom Church of God and was retired from Gwinnett County Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lathren is survived by his wife, Linda Price Lathren of Commerce; daughters, Melissa Reichert of Lula, Michelle Brookshire of Dacula and Melody Powell of Athens; sister, Sharon Eads of Chatsworth; brothers, Ernie Lathren and Mark Lathren; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, July 14 at Freedom Church of God with Rev. Douglas Lee and Rev. Jason Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM Friday.
