Nathan B. Tanner

Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Wednesday July 25, 2012 at Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Nathan B. Tanner age 83 of Flowery Branch. The Rev. David Gravitt will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Tanner passed away Sunday July 22, 2012.

Mr. Tanner was born in Hall County to the late Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Tanner. A member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Dawsonville, Mr. Tanner was an ordained Holiness minister, preaching at churches in White, Habersham, Rabun and Hall Counties and in the Atlanta area. His services could also be heard on the local radio station for over 35 years. He was the owner of Tanner's Cafe in Gainesville and was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Dean Tanner; brother, Arthur Lee Tanner and sisters, Clara Tanner Sisk and Lounell Tanner.
